Now this is an interesting one! Modder PotatoOfDoom1337 has attempted, and succeeded, to replace Cyberpunk\u2019s DLSS with FSR 2.0, aptly titled \u201cFidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0<\/a>\u201d. While this is more of a proof of concept, the results seem to be quite amazing with pretty gigantic performance increases for GPUs that don\u2019t support DLSS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this is fantastic for all computers, this could be a gigantic leap for Steam Deck too. I cannot confirm how this runs or works on the Deck, I haven\u2019t tried it myself, but it is definitely a worthwhile notion to check and see how it looks and runs. With AMD making FSR 2.0 open source, mods like this may start popping up for games it was never designed to work with, leading to better performance on games on Deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
